The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a national-level examination conducted for admission into various top organisations in the country. The JEE Main session 1 was conducted in the last week of June. The results of the same were announced on 11 July 2022. Candidates who qualify in this exam will be admitted to prestigious engineering institutes such as IITs, NITs, CFTIs, etc., for B.Tech, B.E, B.Arch, or B.Plan programmes. The second session of JEE Main will be held from July 21 to 30, 2022. The exams for Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) and Paper 1 (B.Tech/B.E.) will be held separately.
JEE Main 2022 Cutoff
The National Testing Agency announces the JEE Main cutoff scores for each category. The JEE Main results with category-specific all India Ranks are also released by NTA, along with the cutoff scores. The minimum scores needed to qualify for JEE Advanced 2022 are known as JEE Main 2022 cutoff scores. The number of candidates who took the exam in total, its level of difficulty, the number of seats available, and other variables are taken into account for determining the JEE Main cutoff. The JEE Main cutoff score for 2022 can be higher or lower than it was the previous year.
There are two forms of JEE Main cutoff. First, there is the NTA-released JEE Main qualifying cutoff. Second, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) announces the JEE Main 2022 entrance cutoff on behalf of the participating institutes. The JEE Main 2022 qualifying cutoff is the score that applicants must obtain in order to take the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. The lowest score required for admission to certain NITs, IIITs, CFITs, and other participating public or private institutions, is the JEE Main 2022 admission cutoff.
JEE Main 2022 Answer Key
Candidates should carefully check the JEE Main answer key because it will include all of the correct answers to the questions on the JEE Main exam paper. The National Testing Agency (NTA) publishes the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key on its official website. Candidates can get a rough exam score by checking and comparing their answers with those in the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key.
Candidates can challenge the answer key if they are not satisfied with the answer provided in the answer key. Candidates must pay a certain sum (specified by NTA) per answer in order to challenge the answer. Candidates must log on to the website and submit their JEE Main application number, date of birth, and security question to complete the application form for challenging an answer. Payment for challenging the answer keys can be made using a debit/credit card or a non-refundable e-challan. The decision made by the JAB (Joint Admission Board)/NTA will consider the final decision, and no further communication will be entertained. The processing fee will be returned if the challenge is found to be valid. Only paid challenges submitted through the challenging link during the allotted period will be taken into consideration. After the release of the JEE Main 2022 results and NTA score, no complaints regarding the answer key(s) will be considered.
